Chassis
- Galvanized steel construction and fully
welded using rolled steel channel 175mm x 50mm main longitudinal beams with 175mm x 50mm cross members and 95mm x 44 mm end bearers.
- Chassis has a detachable tow bar at each
end making siting of the homes easier and
includes a 50mm ball, hitch and jockey
wheel assembly.
- Axle beam welded to main beam.
- Axle stands are provided for correct siting.
Floor
- Cavity floor construction includes 120mm x 32mm high quality timber joists spaced at 400mm centres.
- Each bearer is bolted to the steel chassis.
- 80mm fibreglass insulation, joist assembly
then clad in 18mm tongue & groove
moisture resistant flooring grade chipboard
(plywood flooring optional extra).
- Cavity is completed underneath by fitting oil tempered hardboard sheathing.
Roof
- Prefabricated roof trusses spaced at
600mm centres using 58mm x 44mm with
vented side soffits, all manufactured
inhouse.
- Specially designed lightweight roofing
system, fitted with a breathable membrane.
- 250mm fibreglass insulation matt laid in
roof space.
- Available in a choice of colours.
Exterior/Interior walls & Ceilings
- Timber frame exterior construction using
72mm x 42mm high quality timbers
spaced at 400mm centers.
- Cavity is filled with 50mm foiled backed
low E frame fibreglass batts, the exterior
framework is clad with 9mm WPB
BB/CC plywood nailed, bonded, scrim
taped and glued. Applied with two coats
of primer.
- Exterior is finished with a specially
formulated park home synthetic resinbonded
aggregate coating system (Stucco).
- Internally the outer walls are clad with
12.5mm foil backed plasterboard making
our homes warmer in the winter and
cooler in the summer and helping the
environment at the same time.
- Interior walls are 32mm timber framework
with 6mm plywood fixed and glued to
timber frame and decorated in pre-finished
wallpaper in a colour of your choice.
- All ceiling panels are screwed and glued to
roof trusses using 12.5mm plasterboard.
- Decorated with wallpaper, painted with
matt emulsion.
The insulation values of our homes are in
excess of British standards.
Windows & Doors
- uPVC double glazed windows and doors with energy efficient K glass fitted as
standard. All with locking handles, night
vent facility and internally glazed windows
for that additional security as standard.
- We have a window for every home. All
windows and doors are manufactured
inhouse and are available with a choice of
colours and styles.
Electrics
- Prestige complies with all current IEE
regulations, using ring mains and feeding
13 amp power points with separate feed to
lighting and auxiliary circuits.
- All circuits are wired for 230/250 volts AC Single phase and a 50 cycle mains supply.
- Power distribution via 100 amp consumer
unit and earth leakage trip fitted at mains
input
Central Heating Systems
- Gas central heating is standard on all
models using ‘A’ class combi condensing
boilers (Oil, solid fuel and electric heating
systems are available at extra cost).
- Hot and cold water is supplied directly
from the mains through the combi boiler.
All electrical and central heating installations
are carried out by competent, qualified
engineers.
